Overview

Alphapalooza ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our mobile application ("the App").

By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App.

Information We Collect

Alphapalooza does not require you to create an account or provide any personal information to play. We collect only the minimum data necessary to operate the game:

• Player handle: A display name you choose when registering for the leaderboard. This is not linked to any real-world identity.
• Game scores and results: Your daily scores, answer times, and game history, used to power the leaderboard and your personal stats.
• Device identifier: An anonymous identifier used to associate your scores with your device across sessions, without identifying you personally.

How We Use Your Information

• To display your scores on the daily leaderboard.
• To show your personal game history and streak.
• To prevent cheating and ensure fair play.
• To improve the App and fix bugs.

We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Advertising

Alphapalooza is a free app supported by advertising. We use Google AdMob to serve ads within the App. Google AdMob may collect and use data to show you relevant ads, including:

• Device advertising identifiers (IDFA on iOS, GAID on Android)
• Approximate location (country/region)
• App usage and interaction data

You can opt out of personalised advertising at any time through your device settings: on iOS via Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking, and on Android via Settings > Google > Ads.

Data Retention

Game scores and leaderboard data are retained for as long as the App is in operation. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at the email address below.

Children's Privacy

Alphapalooza is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information we collect. All data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored securely. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
